CAROLE TAYLOR BA (Cantab), D.F.Astrol.S.
PRESIDENT Director of Studies Council Member & Faculty Tutor (Classes & Distance Learning) Carole has been a Faculty tutor and a professional astrologer since she gained her Diploma in 2000, and was organiser of the Faculty's London Classes and Summer School for 8 years before becoming Director of Studies in September 2008. In her current role she is responsible for the production of the Faculty's course material and for managing the ongoing development of courses. She has an interest in complementary medicine and worked for 5 years as aprofessional reflexologist for the Complementary Health Trust in London.
LAURA ANDRIKOPOULOS B.Sc. D.F.Astrol.S.
VICE PRESIDENT Council Member and Faculty Tutor (Distance Learning) Fascinated by the planets from an early age, Laura began seriously studying Astrology around the turn of the millennium and gained her Faculty Diploma in 2006, winning the Margaret Hone Award. She has a degree in Mathematics, a Diploma in Theology, and is currently working on her MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at Lampeter University. She combines her Birmingham based Astrological practice with bringing up her two young sons. Laura is currently a member of the Faculty Council.
PAOLO CORTUCCI D.F.Astrol.S.
HEAD TUTOR Council Member and Faculty Tutor (Classes and Distance Learning) Paolo took his Diploma in 2007, 6 years after he decided to structure his knowledge of astrology. He is a member of the Council as well as the Faculty's Research Fund Coordinator. He is currently studying horary astrology. Paolo freelances as a conference interpreter and translator and has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Westminster since 1994.

Born the 26th September 1961 and currently living in Barcelona, Gloria started studying astrology in 1992, was awarded the Certificate of the Faculty in 1993 and the Diploma in 2002. She has also studied esoteric astrology with Alan Oken and Hermetic Symbology in Barcelona, and is currently studying for a degree in Psychology. She has been teaching astrology since 1998 and has organised astrological gatherings for students of different levels and spoken at many conferences and seminars in Barcelona. One of her goals is to introduce astrology in schools, to help parents and educators to understand their children and broaden their ideas about what education can be.
CAT COX D.F.Astrol.S. Council Member and Faculty Tutor (Classes and Distance Learning) Cat began studying astrology over 20 years ago and was awarded the Faculty Diploma in 1996. She has studied horary astrology with John Frawley and was awarded the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from Bath Spa University in 2007. She has an interest in the philosophical perspectives which inform contemporary astrology. She is also interested in the experiential dimension of astrological practice and how we work practically with symbols and myth. She practices in London and periodically teaches workshops and groups. 
CLAIRE CHANDLER D.F.Astrol.S.
Faculty Tutor (Distance Learning) Claire Chandler is a professional astrologer, software trainer and project manager based in London, England and is particularly interested in mundane astrology and historical cycles. She was President of the Astrological Lodge of London from 2002 to 2008 and is currently finishing the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at University of Wales, Lampeter. 
CHRISTINA ALVAREZ B.Ed (Hons) D.F.Astrol.S.
Faculty Tutor (Distance Learning) Christina lives in the ountryside near Barcelona and runs a private astrological consultation practice. She has always been interested in therapy and personal growth, studying Maggage, Reflexology, Qi-Gong and Traditional Tibetan Medicine, but her passion for Astrologymade her join the Faculty in 2003. She has been awarded with the Faculty Scholarship and the Fiona Griffiths Award and has obtained her Diploma in 2008. She holds a Degree in Primary Education and is currently studying Electional Astrology. She has her own astrological blog and now is promoting astrological workshops in her rural area. 
BEATRICE BOUCHER D.F.Astrol.S.
Faculty Tutor (Distance Learning) Beatrice was born in France and has lived in the Netherlands since her first nodal return in the 1970's. She has her own astrological practice in Arnhem, and gives classes and lectures. She has a special interest in astrologyand its research directed at understanding the influences of the cosmic energies in the development of consciousness.

Penny began learning astrology over twenty years ago fitting in her studies around bringing up her children, working in the National Health Service and various life crises. She obtained her Diploma in 2001, receiving the Margaret Hone award, but continued in her hospital career until her son left University. She is now able to devote her time to astrology and finds her role as a distance learning tutor extremely rewarding. She speaks Portuguese and maintains close links with her late husband’s family and friends in Madeira. 
SUE M. FAREBROTHER MA D.F.Astrol.S., Psychosynthesis graduate
Faculty Tutor (Classes & Distance Learning) Sue graduated in Psychosynthesis pyschotherapy in 1987. She joined the Faculty as a tutor at the London Classes in 1999 and served as a Faculty Council Member for six years. She works with and teaches the symbolism and meaning of the Tarot as well as having a private astrological and counselling practice.
KIM FARLEY D.F.Astrol.S.

Kim has a background in writing and cooking and began studying astrology seriously in the 1980’s. She now teaches in Further Education as well as for the Faculty’s London Classes at both Foundation and Diploma level. Kim gives workshops and lectures on various aspects of astrology throughout the UK, and sees clients and private students at home.
MARK FOUNTAIN D.F.Astrol.S. Distance Learning Tutor Mark Fountain combines a small astrological practice with the teaching of English as a Foreign Language which he has been doing since 1986. He became interested in astrology when he was 14 years old, embarking on a long journey which finally led to him gaining his Diploma in 1998. Originally from Gloucestershire, Mark now lives and works in the university city of Cambridge, where he relishes the chance to meet people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds on a daily basis. His other interests include History, Psychology, Art and Politics, all subjects which his study of astrology has helped to illuminate and enrich.

Faculty Tutor (Classes & Distance Learning) After a twenty year career in theatre, film and TV, Peta started to study astrology with the Faculty in 1988. She gained her Certificate in 1989 and her Diploma in 1992 (winning the Margaret Hone Award). She gained the Faculty Counselling Diploma in 1992 (she was in the first set of students). A past Chair of the AA, and of the Association of Professional Astrologers, Peta has also been Council Secretary for the Faculty. She also teaches counselling and works as an astrological (and non astrological) consultant/counsellor.

Martin Lipson won the Thomas McArthur award in 1998 and the Margaret Hone award in 2003. He gained his Diploma in 2004. Martin maintains a private practice near Kingston Ontario Canada.

Faculty Tutor Clare Martin has been a Faculty tutor since 1990 and was Faculty President from 2000 to 2009. She is deeply committed to the advancement of astrological education at all levels. She ensures that students are fully supported as they progress through the Faculty's Foundation and Diploma programmes. Clare practices as a psychotherapist and consultant astrologer in London, and is a supervisor at the Centre for Psychological Astrology. Her three-volume introduction to psychological astrology, Mapping the Psyche, has been translated into several European languages.

Dragana lives in Belgium, and has been working as a professional astrologer since 1990. She gives courses, workshops and lectures and works with clients in English, Dutch, and Serbian. Besides her astrological lectures, she also lectures on the beliefs of the old Slavs and the spirituality of Serbs. Dragana also has a Diploma from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (Chemistry) 
POLLY WALLACE BA (Hons), D.F. Astrol.S. Faculty Tutor (Distance Learning) Polly gained the Faculty's Diploma in 2005 and also the Fiona Griffiths award. Polly runs a small private practice alongside her teaching work and her writing has been published in the Astrology Quarterly, Journal of the Seasons (NZ) and the AA Journal. 
DIANE CONWAY BA, D.F. Astrol.S. Faculty Tutor (Distance Learning) Diane has a Degree in English. She gained her Faculty Diploma in 2010 following a twenty year fascination with astrology and is currently establishing an astrological practice in Somerset. She also has a long term involvement with the tarot which she is seeking to develop further. 
DARBY COSTELLO
Classes Tutor Darby has been an astrologer for more than half her life and is engaged in many layers of the astrological community. She has taught at the Centre for Psychological Astrology since 1988 and lectures and teaches internationally. She has written several books: Astrology (with Lindsay Radermacher); The Astrological Moon; Water and Fire; and Earth and Air. She also co-authored The Mars Quartet with Lynn Bell, Liz Greene and Melanie Reinhart. Darby was awarded the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at Bath Spa University in 2006. Her consultation practice is at the heart of her working life as an astrologer.
MELANIE REINHART D.F.Astrol.S.

Melanie was born in Zimbabwe, whose night skies inspired her vocation of astrology in 1959. She holds a B.A. Degree in English, Music and Drama (Cape Town), and has been a professional astrologer since 1975. She is a prize-winning Diploma-holder of the Faculty of Astrological Studies, and has taught for some of the world's leading astrology schools in the UK and abroad. She has also presented original research material at many international conferences, and maintains a busy practice with an international clientele. Melanie offer tutorials and supervision for advanced students, and also writes regularly for ‘Caduceus’ magazine. Books published include: 'Chiron and the Healing Journey' , 'Chiron, Saturn and the Centaurs', and 'Incarnation'. She also contributed to the anthology 'The Mars Quartet' . Melanie has wide experience of spiritual teachings and therapeutic methods both physical and psychological, and has a special interest in meditative experience as a healing modality, especially using music.
