Faculty of Astrological Studies

Death of the Danish Astrologer, Christian Borup

The Faculty is very sad to report the death of the well-known Danish astrologer Christian Borup, on 29th July 2015. His death comes after a two-year battle with colon cancer.

Christian Borup was a key figure in Danish astrology, with a high-profile presence on television and in popular media, and a thriving astrological practice in Copenhagen. He was also very well known internationally, much loved and respected by the global astrological community for his intelligence, humour and integrity as an astrologer. He had over 35 years’ experience as a teacher, lecturer, writer and practitioner.

The Faculty fondly remembers his visit to the Summer School in 2012 with his partner, Branka Stamenkovic. Their teaching at the event was truly inspirational, as ever. Christian’s death is a great loss to the world of astrology.
